56-MSU-Foundation-2017

September 1, 2017

Dr. Habib Macaayong
President, Mindanao State University System
Marawi City, Philippines

Dear President Habib:

On the occasion of the 56th Foundation Anniversary of our dear Alma mater, the MSUeVillage International would like to extend our utmost congratulations to you and your entire administration in keeping the MSU, Marawi Campus safe and open for students, faculty, and staff. We believe in your leadership in maintaining the safety and learning environments at the main campus. As in the past, MSUans have shown the utmost resiliency amidst adversity. MSUans are survivors, and they excel in their chosen professions despite their spatial and temporal diversity.

The 7th MSUeVillage International Grand Reunion in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 27-29, 2017 was a very successful gathering of more than 200 MSUans. The Souvenir Journal of the grand reunion raised funds for the purchase of 18 sets of ELMO MX-1 Document Camera, and OPTOMA Technology W331 Multimedia (HD) Projectors. These projectors were mailed to different colleges and campuses of the MSU system two weeks ago.

Likewise, 19 sets of Epson V230 multi-media projectors and Elmo MO1 document cameras were donated to MSU Colleges in six campuses from the proceeds of Souvenir Journal donations of the 6th MeVI grand reunion held in New York City on July 10-12, 2015. The 6th MeVI Grand Reunion in New York City was attended by more than 360 MSUans and friends.

The MSUeVillage International Grand reunions generate support from MSUans worldwide as part of its reaching out to our Alma mater. We thank you for your leadership.
